Duetten på pletten

The Soprano Elsebeth Dreisig and the tenor Jan Lund have sung together for several years.

It all started at The Danish National Opera back in 1996, where we were both engaged as young promising singers – since then it has been a long journey of thrilling performances together.

We have founded and run the small exciting and very progressive opera-company - DogmeOpera – and now we´re launching - Duetten på Pletten – (in english something like “The Duet on the Spot”) – A vocal duet that offers concerts for just about any occasion or purpose – anywhere!

The Carl Nielsen Trio

”Carl Nielsen in new clothes”

The love for the enormous treasure of Carl Nielsens songs was the basis for the Carl Nielsen Trio.

The trio consists of Jan LundTenor, Karen Skriver Zarganis – Flute and Michael Norman Sørensen – Guitar.

The three musicians have asked seven contemporary danish composers to each arrange a bouquet of Carl Nielsens songs for the Carl Nielsen Trio.

These songs are the core of any concert we play, but naturally music by other composers find its way to our concert programmes.

DogmeOpera

What is DogmeOpera?

Does the ten dogme rules only exist in the film world?

No – of course not !! – thought we.

So we created our own “ten commandments” for opera on a dogme basis – and created our first DogmeOpera show.

Success soon demanded we created a follow-up – To mand frem for en Diva“Two Men and the Diva” – luckily this show also won the hearts of the audience and the critics – now it has toured in all corners of the country – and still does!

If this tickles your curiosity please visit DogmeOpera´s website – www.dogmeopera.dk – for a lot more fun…
