Graduated as pianist in 1990 and as singer – tenor – in 1994.
Further studies in London, Rome and Copenhagen, with Tonny Landy, Professor Kirsten Buhl, Thomas Hemsley, Angelo degl`Innocenti and Margareth Genovesi-Baker.
J.L. has received several prices and awards. He has sung in the major danish concerthalls and churches as concert and oratorio-singer, as well as on radio and TV. As an opera singer J.L. has sung with just about every opera company in Denmark, from the small companies as The Opera of Funen to The Danish National Opera and The Royal Danish Opera.
